Australian Mutual Bank is proud to continue our sponsorship of St Andrews Ukrainian School in Lidcombe, a cornerstone of the Ukrainian community for 55 years. In 2023, the school has seen an influx of students, including many displaced by the war in Ukraine. Now serving 135 students from preschool to Year 10, the school has become a sanctuary for these children, providing them with a connection to their heritage and a supportive community.
Our sponsorship is helping the school meet the increased demand for resources such as books, stationery, and warm clothing. We also support the school’s community service initiatives, including providing meals to elderly and displaced families, fostering a sense of connection and care.
In these exceptional times, the need for community, education, and support has never been greater. Australian Mutual Bank remains steadfast in our commitment to St Andrews Ukrainian School and the broader Ukrainian community, and we are grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact.
